I build backend-heavy systems where AI has a clear operational purpose: pricing decision tools, RAG assistants, conversational workflows, and automation platforms. BSc Computer Science student at the University of Crete.
I enjoy the less flashy but critical parts of software: clean data models, reliable ingestion, background jobs, retrieval quality, API contracts, and systems that behave predictably when something goes wrong.

UNIVERSITY PROJECT
BandFinder is a full-stack platform for discovering, managing, and booking music events. The system supports public and private events, band profiles, admin moderation, real-time communication, and AI-powered search. I implemented backend APIs, database models, user roles, moderation flows, and semantic search using embeddings.

Full-stack event management app built for TEDxUniversityofCrete 2026, used by ~500 attendees and supporting workshop registration, QR check-in, waitlists, admin operations, and transactional emails.
DATA · BACKEND
Production pricing decision platform for short-term rental operations, built to process large market and operational datasets, support revenue-management workflows, and surface pricing insights through backend services and internal UI integrations.

Backend & AI Engineer
Owned a production pricing decision platform end-to-end — ETL for ~12GB of CSV market data, pricing logic, monitoring, and revenue metrics for ~100 rental properties. Built a RAG assistant over ~500 internal documents with semantic ranking and hallucination guards. Resolved a CPU-exhaustion server crash through concurrency controls.
Automation & Conversational AI Developer
Designed and shipped conversational customer-support workflows across web and messaging channels, plus AI agents for intent detection and knowledge retrieval to assist human support. Built IVR orchestration, routing logic, and enterprise platform integrations; tuned production flows for handling speed.
